At last night’s awards ceremony, New York fashion designer Joseph Altuzarra was named this year’s winner of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, for his promise as an emerging talent. I absolutely love the splash of the hawaiian print on the sporty techno designs that he sent down the runway.

The prized White Truffle is called the White Diamond of Italy and grows from September to December. In early October I went to the Ferragamo Estate in Tuscany where I went truffle hunting, which is very similar to hunting for buried treasure.. I was fortunate enough to find a couple! In keeping with the true Tuscan tradition, our lunch spread was simple and rustic. You might get tired of looking for truffles but you’ll never get tired of eating them :)
